These Terms & Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of rtibk.com and any pages, tools and content made available on it (together, the “Site”). The Site is provided by the operator of rtibk.com (“RTIBK”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Use of the Site
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Site. You may use the Site only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- use the Site in any way that breaches applicable law or regulation;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its servers or any connected systems, or interfere with its normal operation;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful code, or carry out denial-of-service or similar attacks;
- use automated tools such as bots, scrapers or crawlers to extract content in bulk, except for standard search engine indexing that respects our technical instructions;
- copy, reproduce or republish our content except as permitted in Section 5;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or impersonate RTIBK, our editors or any other person; or
- use the Site or our name to promote, solicit or conduct any investment scheme or financial service.
We may suspend or restrict access to all or part of the Site at any time, without notice, for maintenance, security or any other reason. We are not liable if the Site is unavailable for any period.
2. Educational nature of our content
All articles, guides, charts, tools and other materials on the Site are published for general informational and educational purposes only. They are written for a broad audience and do not take into account the objectives, financial situation, knowledge, experience or needs of any particular person.
Accordingly, nothing on the Site constitutes, or should be relied upon as:
- investment, financial, legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice;
- a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security, fund, currency, commodity or other financial instrument;
- an offer, solicitation or invitation to enter into any transaction; or
- a personalized assessment of whether any strategy is suitable for you.
Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results, and historical figures quoted on the Site are illustrative. Before making any financial decision, you should consider your own circumstances and, where appropriate, consult a qualified, properly licensed professional. 3. No client relationship
Reading the Site, using its tools, subscribing to updates or corresponding with us does not create an adviser–client, broker–client, fiduciary or any other professional relationship between you and RTIBK. We do not open accounts, accept deposits, hold or manage client money or assets, execute trades or hold any financial services licence.
If anyone claiming to represent RTIBK offers to manage your money, asks you to transfer funds, requests account credentials or promises investment returns, that person is not acting on our behalf. Please do not engage, and consult our Investor Security Center for guidance on reporting impersonation scams.
4. Accuracy and timeliness of information
Our editors work to keep content accurate and clearly sourced, but financial markets, laws and products change frequently. Content reflects the understanding of the RTIBK editorial team at the time of publication and may become outdated. We do not undertake to update any content, and we do not guarantee that any information on the Site is complete, current or free of errors. If you believe something is inaccurate, please tell us through our Contact page so that we can review it.
5. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, page layouts, data compilations and software, are owned by or licensed to RTIBK and are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. The RTIBK name and logo are our trademarks and may not be used without our prior written permission.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You may:
- print or download individual pages for your own reference;
- share links to pages on the Site; and
- quote short extracts for commentary, criticism or news reporting, provided that you credit RTIBK and link to the original page.
Any other use, including reproducing, modifying, distributing, selling or creating derivative works from our content, or using it to train machine learning models, requires our prior written consent. Photographs are used under the licences of their respective providers and remain the property of their owners. Third-party trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners, and their use does not imply endorsement.
6. User submissions
When you send us a message, correction, suggestion or other material (a “Submission”), you confirm that the Submission is your own, is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and does not infringe anyone else’s rights or contain unlawful, defamatory, abusive or misleading material.
You retain ownership of your Submissions. However, you grant RTIBK a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and adapt any feedback, corrections or ideas you send us for the purpose of improving the Site and its content, without any obligation to compensate you. We will not publish your name or personal details without your permission. We are not obliged to respond to, act on or keep confidential any Submission other than as described in our Privacy Policy.
Please do not send us confidential information, account credentials, bank details or other sensitive personal data. We will never ask you for them.
7. Third-party links and widgets
The Site may contain links to websites operated by third parties, and some pages, such as Market Insights, embed widgets supplied by third-party providers, including market data and charting tools from TradingView. These links and widgets are provided for convenience and educational context only.
We do not control, endorse or accept responsibility for third-party websites, widgets, data or services, including their accuracy, availability, security or privacy practices. Market data displayed in embedded widgets is supplied by the provider, may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate, and should not be used as the basis for trading decisions. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies, which we encourage you to review.
8. Investment calculator and other tools
Our investment calculator and any similar tools on the Site produce hypothetical illustrations based solely on the assumptions you enter, such as starting amount, contributions, time horizon and rate of return. The results:
- are estimates for educational purposes and are not predictions or guarantees of future performance;
- generally do not account for taxes, fees, inflation, market volatility or changes in your circumstances unless expressly stated; and
- should not be relied on as the sole basis for any financial decision.
Actual outcomes will differ, sometimes significantly, from any illustration. You are solely responsible for the inputs you choose and for how you interpret and use the results.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all content, tools and third-party materials on it are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory. We specifically disclaim any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that the Site or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RTIBK and its editors, contributors, service providers and licensors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, savings, investments, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site or any content, tool or third-party material on it, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
In particular, we are not liable for any investment or financial decision you make, or any loss you suffer, as a result of relying on information on the Site. Where liability cannot be excluded, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims relating to the Site is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects any statutory rights you have as a consumer.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RTIBK and its editors, contributors and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, your Submissions, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
12. Changes to the Site and these Terms
We may change, add or remove content and features on the Site at any time. We may also revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Changes take effect when posted, and your continued use of the Site after that means you accept the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you should stop using the Site.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of that jurisdiction will have jurisdiction over any such dispute, except that, if you are a consumer, you may also benefit from any mandatory protections and may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence where the law allows. Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so that we can try to resolve the matter informally.
14. General provisions
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision is not a waiver of that right or provision. You may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may assign ours in connection with a reorganization or transfer of the Site. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Disclosures, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site.
